posted 3 years, 6 months ago under Scetches (auf deutsch lesen)

Alright then, here we go with the next bunch of pages from my sketchbook “Slave of a Fool”. For the meaning of the name and some further explanations abot this Sketchbook, have a look into the first part post of this sketchbook.

So here is the best of the pages 32 – 64 of “Slave of a Fool”:

If you want to see all the content of the 33 Pages, have a look at Page 2 of this post, but be warned, most of it is quite bad, though I was kind of proud of it at the time.

So, here we go with the sketchbooks. Instead to number my sketchbooks I decided to give them names, that relate to myself or to media that somehow impresses me, to make ‘em more personal.
Slave of a Fool: Where the slave is my hand or the pencil I’m using and the fool is me.
During this sketchbook I was going through a phase, where I was convinced that drawing more (quantity) by drawing less (quality) would improve my ability to draw rough sketches much faster and more precise, in the end it actually worked out that way, but with the major limitation that my recent Sketches mostly look kind of similar to each other, because I tend to make the same shortcuts when I start a new face/head drawing. And it’s really hard to break this habit.

So here is the best of the first 31 pages of “Slave of a Fool”:

A new beginning after the end

Actually, this was supposed to be a new year’s post, so I’m probably half a year late for that, but I wanted to start blogging again and after a long time out, this title seems fitting.

So, thats it, I don’t have anything to say in mind, so here are some sketches instead, most recent loose pages … I’ve got more recent sketches, but they are in my Sketchbooks, which I started to scan … but there are still 1400 pages until I’m all through, so expect some massive updates in the next couple decades ^^.
